Our Aim
Why pursue medicine and engineering?
As engineers in medicine, we strive to combine the analytical thinking of engineering with the empathy developed through patient interaction. We are a newly formed club designed to provide information and resources for anyone interested in the technical side of medicine. By providing a community of people with similar interests we are able to foster the growing number of engineers attending medical school, as well as create a new perspective for those going into industry.
Throughout the year we will prepare students with the help of advisors, volunteer speakers and updated information on industry standards and medical school qualifications. We will also provide numerous developmental opportunities such as mock interviews, volunteer work, job shadowing, hands-on project development and more.
We encourage all majors in engineering with any form of interest in the medical field to join us at a meeting and apply for official membership.
